The Audi RS4 is a big step up from the Audi A4 sedan. With much bolder and aggressive styling, the RS4 is built to compete with the Mercedes M3 in appearance and performance.

Ford has placed the 2008 Edge Crossover squarely in the middle of its competition. This Front-wheel-drive CUV beats them in several key categories, including price, available torque from the award winning 3.5 liter V-6 power plant, and second row leg room, with more than an inch over the nearest competitor. All of this, plus the option of Ford’s driver’s door keyless entry pad for ease of entry.

Ford began with a bold design and flexibility in mind to blend energetic performance with sedan like handling. This forward thinking has landed the Edge the “Most Appealing Midsized Multi-Activity Vehicle” in J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study.

At the heart of the 2008 Edge is the 3.5L Duratec 35 V6 engine, with 265 horsepower and 250 lb. ft. of torque. Ford engineers utilized a roller-chain drive cam to lower friction and earn the engine an Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle II (ULEV II) emissions standard, a rating approved by the California Air Resources Board. Save America; buy an American car. If you feel even the slightest inclination in that direction, your time may have come. The 2010 Ford Fusion, and in particular, the 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid, delivers contemporary styling, a first-class driving experience, and world-class fuel mileage.

EPA ratings for the Ford Fusion Hybrid are a stupendous 41/36 mpg City/Highway. The Fusion gets eight more miles per gallon in city driving and two more on the highway than does the Toyota Camry Hybrid. In a mid-size sedan as roomy and competent as this one, that is exciting efficiency.

The best news is, you don't have to drive the Fusion Hybrid like you're in a funeral cortege to achieve 40-plus city mpg; these are real-world figures. During Los Angeles morning rush, we drove the Fusion Hybrid in heavy traffic from the Sunset Strip 10 miles west along hilly, snaking Sunset Boulevard to the beach, then south to Santa Monica Pier, all the while proceeding at a distinctly non-funereal pace. Without fuss, the Fusion delivered an impressive 41.5 mpg.

What's more, in city driving, a full tank takes the Hybrid an amazing 700 miles.

Besides the Hybrid, the 2010 Ford Fusion lineup offers a choice of three different engines: a 2.5-liter inline-4 of 175 hp, a 3.0-liter flex-fuel V6 of 240 hp, and a performance-tuned 3.5-liter V6 of 263 hp. The combined horsepower of the Hybrid's gas engine and electric motor is 191 hp, but the literally instantaneous torque of its forceful electric motor makes it feel like more.

Most of the new Fusion's dimensions are unchanged from the previous model, but mechanically and in styling, the 2010 model exhibits vastly more than a mere freshening of last year's model. The new exterior, nicely enhanced with chrome, has a muscular, crisp Euro panache that is, if anything, pleasingly Saab-like.

With prices starting at just $14,695.00 the 2010 Kia Forte is well worth considering.  The line's top end is $18,195.00 which is a great value for the buck.  Let's take a look at some of the features this model boasts.

I'd have to say that one of the qualities that distinguish this vehicle is the full 14.7 cu-ft. of cargo space. 

What else stands out in the 2010 Kia Forte?  Together with containing a CD/MP3 player, there is an IPOD dock with 2 – 12 volt outlets.  These aren't the only sought after features of this automobile.  It contains an integrated hands-free Bluetooth element. 

Would you believe that the warranty on 2010 Kia Forte is an astonishing 10 years or 100,000 miles?  That is almost unbelievable in the car industry. 

In addition to being easy to handle, it has impressive fuel economy. You get 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon with highway driving.  The airbag system is advanced with side full-length curtain airbags which are often found in much higher priced vehicles. 

One of the options you can add on to this sleek looking automobile is a power sunroof that tilts.  I'm sure this would be much envied by many. 

Of course with all good things, disadvantages come as well, and the 2010 Kia Forte is no exception.  Its inability to accelerate as well as some other cars is one such disadvantage.  The size of the back seat also seems to be a sore spot.  While Kia claims that the back seats three people comfortably, most agree that only two can comfortably sit in the back seat. 

The 2010 Kia Forte replaces the Kia Spectra which had mixed reviews.  Kia insists that the Forte is a completely different car than the Spectra.  It does not look similar at all to the Spectra.

The Kia Forte comes in three styles, the LX, EX and SX with the SX being the top of the line.  The 4-door model is available on all three models, with the two-door option available on the EX or SX. 

The majority of customers agree that the Forte is an exceptional looking compact car and that compared with other small cars, Forte is a step ahead of the rest.  It's an excellent value for the money.

 I would recommend this impressive car to anyone wishing to purchase a small sports car.  Then again, that's my opinion.

The Lincoln Navigator is an American made full size luxury SUV which has been produced by the Ford Motor Company and sold under the Lincoln brand name since 1998.  The Lincoln Navigator competes directly with other large luxury SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade and GMC Denali Series.
The 2010 Lincoln Navigator comes standard with a 5.4 liter engine which produces 300 horsepower.  The eight cylinder engine also produces 365 pound feet of torque at 3,750 revolutions per minute.  The Lincoln Navigator comes standard with a six speed automatic transmission.  The 2010 Lincoln Navigator does not have an overly powerful engine, but it still has very good towing capacity of 9,000 pounds. 
 
To help with fuel costs, the 2010 Lincoln Navigator's engine comes with flexible fuel capacity.  Flexible fuel cars can run on both regular gasoline as well as gasoline blended with ethanol or other gases.

Most reviews of the 2010 Lincoln Navigator say the engine within the Navigator is not sufficient when compared to other cars in its class.  The Navigator's main competition of for American made SUVs is the Cadillac Escalade, which comes with a much more powerful engine than the 300 horsepower produced by the Navigator.  One benefit of the Lincoln Navigator over the more powerful Escalade is that fuel efficiency is greater. 

The 2010 Lincoln Navigator is the fourth Navigator produced in the SUV's third generation.  The engine options within this Navigator remain unchanged since the car was first introduced in 1998.  The flex fuel engine option was first introduced in 2008, but has become standard with the 2010 Lincoln Navigator.

First, let us begin with what we already know.  ford Edge will be available in SE, SEL, Limited and Sport trim, come standard with a 285-horsepower 3.5-liter overhaul V6 powerplant and Sport models will get a 305-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 is the same that powers the 2011 Mustang V6. According to order the book, Ford expects 17 percent of the customers to choose the base model SE, 39 percent to go for mid-level SEL, Limited 40 percent to vote and only four percent chose 22-inch wheels from the Sport model.

Stand alone options include an expansive Vista Roof (available with spec 201A or 202A) and Ford's excellent navigation system (available with spec 202A). Jump to the Limited Edge and MyTouch, SYNC, leather, heated seats with power adjust in the front row and visual cues all around are all standard. Go to any car dealership and you can be certain you’ll come across a used Ford Mondeo - it is a fact as inevitable as the world being round or water being wet. Supplies of Ford cars are plentiful - used Ford especially so - with competitive pricing and popular styling just two features of a car company making arguably the best cars it ever has done.

There are two histories the used Ford Mondeo sitting on the forecourt could have in its logbook. The first history would reveal a mid-thirtysomething salesman with many motorway journeys under his belt (and many corporate lunches too no doubt). His suit jacket having been lovingly hung up in the back as it accompanied him on his travels and sales pitter patter. The second life the car could’ve had would be the all purpose, all conquering family pet. Muddy football boots, furniture from Ikea and mountains of glitter from a night out would all have come into contact with the Mondeo.

Whether the car comes with life history 1 or history 2, it doesn’t matter. Either way the car would’ve faithfully carried out it’s duties and has only appeared on the forecourt because either: a) salesman didn’t sell enough and was sacked, b) salesman sold lots and was given a new Mondeo, c) family had another child and bought a people carrier. A good buy on all accounts then, but before you decide on which colour to go for, let me fill you in on the birth of the Mondeo and how it made Ford’s accountants’ life expectancies rise dramatically.

Replacing an institution is tough. Whether you’re singing Freddie Mercury’s parts for Queen, acting James Bond in the latest film, or playing rugby instead of an injured Johnny Wilkinson for England, you’ll be more closely scrutinised than the original. And so was the case with the Mondeo. Entering the showrooms in 1993, the new car replaced the much-loved granddaddy, the Ford Sierra. Despite its global market, the European arm of Ford was haemorrhaging money and had developed the unenviable reputation of making cars the accountants wanted. This resulted in poorly built vehicles that were as interesting to look at as a Monet in a cardboard box.

Things started promisingly (not for the accountants mind) as the Mondeo shared very little in the way of parts or design with its appalling 90’s predecessors the Escort and Orion - resulting in high development costs. Top pub quiz fact: it was the first car to have a drivers’ airbag across the entire range. This forward thinking from Ford meant it topped many safety test standings and appealed to companies not wishing to give their staff death traps and of course families. Sales rocketed and it was named European Car of the Year in 1994.

One criticism was that the styling was still more cardboard box than Monet. A facelift in 1996 addressed this to such a degree, that only the doors and roof remained the same as the Mk I model. The corporate Ford oval was incorporated into the front grill giving the car a more curvy and playful look. Still no Monet but the palette was starting to take shape. The facelift was as well-received as Jackie Collins’ and this helped boost sales further although the additional outlay from Ford did mean specification levels dropped, meaning wheel trims were back and alloy wheels were consigned to the optional extras order form.

Over the next four years, with Ford’s European fortunes taking a drastic u-turn for the better and as the new space-edge Ka and Focus models were being launched, the Mondeo was suddenly in need of another shot of botox. As the new millennium dawned, so did the Mk III Mondeo – the car that more than likely stands before you at the used Ford dealership. Although it was in the same design club as the Ka and Focus, it wasn’t considered part of the ‘New Edge’ Ford design and therefore sat in the corner of the club looking restrained. A more expensive, Volkswagen Passat inspired interior is the stand-out feature, which looks expensive because it is.

Combined with further safety enhancements including the excitingly titled ‘Intelligent Protection System’ (IPS) which was a system that basically decided for you which life-saving features to use in the event of a crash. It was the most popular large family car for its entire 2000 – 2007 life-cycle. It is too early to comment on the latest Mk IV model, although it did find its way into the latest Bond film ‘Casino Royale’ for a brief scene, before being swiftly replaced by Bond’s orginal Aston Martin DB5 (what did I say about following an institution?)

To summarise, the Mondeo may be the most popular vehicle of its class and therefore buying one will result in you being as unique as a Manchester United supporter, but it has sold in it’s droves for a mutlitude of good reasons. The choice as they say, is yours.

Inside the 2008 Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition comes with a 2nd row captain’s chairs, black leather interior with contrasting Colorado red stitching, Colorado red gear shifter, Colorado red center stack, Colorado red door appliqués/bezels, seats feature appointed quad captain black leather skins with red-stitching, Funkmaster Flex red logo headrests, red-stitch steering wheel, FMF floormats, and Funkmaster Flex numbered dash plaque.

In addition, the Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition comes with a standard 340-Watt Audiophile Sound System with MP3 player audio input jack. Other features include Powerfold third-row seats, heat and cooled front seats, power lift gate, air suspension, rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and an optional navigation system.

The Ford Expedition Funkmaster Flex Edition retains some of its technical components including the engine with quality Mercedes valve cover gasket like Mercedes valve cover installed in Mercedes-Benz M-Class, one of Ford Expedition's competitors in the SUV segment.

Morever, Funkmaster Flex is so kind enough that he shared his customization techniques and described his works on the Expedition FMF Edition. On the exterior, Funkmaster Flex said: “The scheme developed shouldn’t be too busy or overloaded with color. You want to make a statement at a stop light with no overkill! Two-tone paint works best. "That is why Funkmaster Flex chose a two-tone Colorado Red and Black paint scheme with Orange pinstriping.

Moreover, Funkmaster Flex said: “Quality body kits are essential to any customization. Sometimes an automaker will introduce a vehicle based upon the platform of a "lesser" model. Typically, this plan is employed when costs need to be cut to realize real savings. The theory is that the shared platform can be tweaked enough to distinguish the upscale model from the ordinary one. Add in leather, a taut suspension, and upgraded powerplant options and you can probably pull it off. For Audi, the introduction of the all-new Audi A4 during the mid1990s allowed the German automaker to capitalize on the success of the Volkswagen Passat, a midsize car from its European cousin. The plan worked, but it was only a temporary move. Let's take a look at the Audi A4 and its surge to the top of German automotive excellence.

For years, the Audi 80 defined the smaller cars in Audi's line up. By the early 1990s, the aging model was in need of updating and the name itself would need to be changed with the two digit alphanumeric model designation recently adopted by Audi. Cost pressures, however, made the development of an all-new from-the-ground-up model impossible. Instead, Audi tapped Volkswagen and based the original Audi A4 upon the successful VW Passat.

Platform sharing has been common amongst automakers for generations. General Motors regularly spreads it platforms across brand lines while Toyota and Honda have learned that their respective Lexus and Acura luxury makes could share much with their high quality and successful standard brands.

Still, the wheels of autodom are always turning and the original Audi A4 is now in its fourth generation and is built on its own platform.
